Its a bird. Its a plane. Its space junk?

Long day last Saturday. Up early for a half-day helping with the annual inventory at work. Then out to spend a few hours with mom at the nursing home.  Followed by a trip to the phone store with Dad which stretched into a one-hour plus appointment.  Drove home about 10 at night after a long and stressful day.  About halfway home, pretty far out in the country, a meteor fell all the way to the ground. A bright ball with a streaming tail. Something you may see only once or twice in your lifetime. And even if it was actually just space junk falling to Earth, something about seeing it at the end of my day, made it even more special and brought a smile to my face.
